One Ring to Assist them all,
One Ring to Network them,
One Ring to bring them all,
and in Industry 4.0 bind them.
Them is your whole plant — PLCs, drives, sensors, screens, MES and ERP. We don't just program it: we build the hardware, harden the network, and bind it all into one system.
Chapter one
Most factories live in the dark age
Machines that can't see each other. Data that never leaves the floor. Every island alone in the cold.
Islands of automation
Each machine runs its own logic, in its own brand, speaking its own dialect. None of them talk to the one beside it.
Data trapped on the floor
Counts, faults and downtime live inside PLCs no one can read. The office runs the plant on guesswork and spreadsheets.
2am breakdowns
A bearing fails with no warning. The line stops, the call comes in, and nobody knows why until someone drives in.
Locked in, left behind
Old controllers no vendor will touch, no path to MES or ERP, no way to add AI. The plant stands still while the world moves on.
Chapter two
Then the wizard arrives
Gangdolf carries one ring — not to rule your machines, but to bind them. Every level of the plant, from the sensor on the floor to the order in your ERP, connected into one system — with the on-prem AI server at its heart, hosting the message broker every layer publishes to.

Gangdolf, make magic happen
One connected plant · your data · your fence
From a single sensor on the floor to the order in your ERP — every layer connected, with the on-prem AI server at the heart of it hosting the message broker. Your data, your network, your fence.
What the ring binds
One ring, six powers
The ring isn't one product — it's your whole factory's nervous system. Each power is a service you can take on its own, or hand us the lot.
AI Maintenance Assistant
A private AI that knows your plant — drawings, programs and manuals answered in plain language, on a server inside your own fence. Nothing leaves the site.
Operator Screens & Dashboards
Plant screens and live dashboards your operators actually want to use — built on Siemens WinCC Unified. Free samples ready to download.
PLC Programming & Commissioning
Control systems, drives, motion and safety — built on Siemens, and commissioned on site until your line is actually running.
Predictive Maintenance
Smart sensors on your critical machines watch vibration, temperature and current continuously — so failures turn into planned service windows, not 2am breakdowns.
AI Training & Agents
Bring AI into your engineering team: practical training, custom automations and tools wired into the way your people already work.
Networks & Industry 4.0
The OT network, firewall and IT/OT segregation that binds it all — plus the bridge to MES and ERP so the floor and the office finally share one truth.
The whole ring · one upgrade
See your whole factory. Finally.
Take the six powers as one programme — an Industry 4.0 upgrade that connects the machines you already own into one live, trustworthy picture of your plant. Lift output, cut waste, prove compliance. No rip-and-replace.

Projects that prove it
Real lines, published anonymised — what the plant needed and what changed. Client details available on request.
Scroll over the wheel to spin it, drag it by hand, or use the arrow keys.
Palletising line upgrade — 13 robot cells, zero lost shifts
An ageing packing area consolidated onto a modern fail-safe Siemens control system, new and existing robots brought onto one safety system, and the whole fleet upgraded cell by cell around live production.
Chiller & boiler line upgrade — retrofitted without stopping production
Boiler hot-water, chiller cooling-water and production clean-water systems brought onto a modern Siemens controller with stable automatic control and full process visibility — without a single production stop.
Recycled-water scheme — one control standard across every site
A multi-site recycled-water scheme brought onto one standard Siemens control and SCADA platform: variable-speed pumps with automatic duty rotation, PID level and pressure control, chlorine dosing and HV monitoring — every site built the same way, run from one control room.
A modern web API, read straight into WinCC Unified
Many of today’s smart field devices speak a modern web (REST/JSON) language. We proved — live, on real hardware — that this data can be brought into Siemens WinCC Unified: always-on in the background, secure, and ready for an ERP or MES to read like any other process value.
One network — 15 machines, one tidy, secured control room
A control room of fifteen stand-alone machines — each with its own PC, its own little network and its own printer — consolidated onto one VLAN-segmented network with virtualised SCADA, layered industrial firewalls and a single shared printer. Done machine by machine, with no production downtime.
AI on the production line — machine knowledge in plain English, fully offline
A digital twin of a production machine built for AI — electrical and mechanical drawings, OEM manuals and SOPs ingested — so operators and maintenance can ask how the machine works and have its code explained in plain English, without anything going online.
Magic on the surface. Real Siemens engineering underneath.

The engineer you'll actually get
Sean Shen
Director & Lead Engineer
Every Gangdolf project is delivered by Sean — a senior control-systems engineer with 20+ years on Siemens systems in high-volume food manufacturing. The person who scopes your job writes the code, commissions it on site and answers the phone afterwards.
How a project runs
From first email to running line
No account managers, no handoffs — the same engineer carries the job end to end.
